The 3rd installment of the Toy Story movies topped the box office in the US and Canada for the second straight week.
Since it's June 18 release, Toy Story 3 has already earned $226.6 million — certainly great news for Walt Disney Co's Pixar Studio. Toy Story has topped 2 other movies: Knight and Day and Grown Ups.
Toy Story 3 is a 3-D sequel that brings back the voices of Tom Hanks as Woody and Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, while introducing several new toys (including a villainous bear that smells of strawberries, voiced by Ned Beatty).
On the average, cinemas charge 3$ more per ticket for 3-D movies, definitely adding more to the sales of this really really good movie that caters to every member of the family.
