Avatar Returns With Extra Footage

James Cameron's blockbuster movie Avatar returns to movie theaters next month with an extra 8-minute footage.

This special edition of Avatar will debut in digital 3-D and IMAX3-D movie theaters on August 27, according to its distributor, 20th Century Fox.

Avatar - the biggest modern blockbuster - has earned $2.7B dollars worldwide. Now, audiences can experience more of Pandora as they've always wanted. The movie's new version will run 10 minutes shy of 3 hours this time.

I still can't believe why Avatar didn't win the Best Picture in this year's Oscar awards.

This creation is another genius from James Cameron who directed and written the movie himself. It's my family's current favorite movie and it is something that you won't get tired of watching over and over again.

The 3rd installment of the Toy Story movies topped the box office in the US and Canada for the second straight week.

Since it's June 18 release, Toy Story 3 has already earned $226.6 million -- certainly great news for Walt Disney Co's Pixar Studio. Toy Story has topped 2 other movies: Knight and Day and Grown Ups.

Toy Story 3 is a 3-D sequel that brings back the voices of Tom Hanks as Woody and Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear, while introducing several new toys (including a villainous bear that smells of strawberries, voiced by Ned Beatty).

On the average, cinemas charge 3$ more per ticket for 3-D movies, definitely adding more to the sales of this really really good movie that caters to every member of the family.

2. Bambi (1942): The movie is based on the book Bambi, A Life In The Woods written by Austrian author Felix Salten. The story is about a white tailed-deer named Bambi, his parents, his friends Thumper and Flower and his future mate, Faline.

3. The Lion King (1994): The story of this movie is influenced by the Bible stories of Joseph and Moses and also on the William Shakespeare play Hamlet and it takes place in a kingdom of anthropomorphic animals in Africa. It is still the highest grossing traditionally animated film.
